Real brief: If you're looking for an agent, Wes is your guy. We've bought/sold 6 homes in the last 12 years, all over the country, and no agent compares to Wes. We've never liked a real estate agent that we worked with before working with Wes. We'll never work with another agent again! We recently bought a home and had an excellent experience with Wes. To put it into context. here's what we want in an agent when buying a house: for them to understand pricing trends in the marketplace, specific to neighborhoods. For them to make the process easy by having great people whom they can refer to us (inspectors, mortgage lenders, etc). We want them to understand our needs and show us homes appropriate to those needs. We want his perspective where appropriate, but to also give us room to form our own perspective on our time. Once we've found a home that we like, we want our agent to get everything that we can from the offer, be it pricing or specific work to be done. We started the process in the fall, viewed multiple dozens of homes, and started putting offers in during late winter. We put in bids that weren't accepted, we were outbid on homes and even entered into a contract that didn't work out. Throughout this time, Wes was always responsive and patient, giving us the same excellent level of service. In the end, we found the perfect home for us in a great neighborhood. He helped us negotiate the purchase agreement and subsequent inspection repair requests to such a degree that we have no doubt that we got everything we could have possible gotten.
